We, Haier Japan Region, are aiming to expand globally from Japan and create value with users around the world.
Haier entered the Japanese market in 2002 and subsequently formed a product development alliance with Sanyo Electric for refrigerators in 2007.

This marked Haier Group’s first international collaboration model. In 2012, with the completion of business acquisition and integration, we launched the AQUA brand in addition to Haier, and established Haier Asia R&D. With this new operation structure, we have developed a wide range of businesses, from refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and other small household appliances, to the industry’s No. 1 commercial washing machines.

Currently, Haier Group has achieved No. 1 market share of the world’s white goods appliances for 10 consecutive years. With 7 major brands around the world: Haier from China, AQUA from Japan, GE Appliances from the United States, Fisher & Paykel from Oceania, and Candy from Europe, Haier Group continues to grow in every region. Our appliances are supported by the global technology and manufacturing network including 10 R&D centers around the world including Japan, the United States, Germany, and India. In Japan, we combine the global resources of the Haier Group and the technological capabilities inherited from Sanyo Electric and double brand strategy of Haier and AQUA brands.

Utilizing our strengths, Haier Group has transformed from a traditional home appliance manufacturer to a leader in smart homes and IoT ecosystems.
